Due to the disruptions derived by the new COVID-19 variant, the Cancer Research Society is extending the deadline for the 2022 Operating Grants competition. Only applicants that submitted a Letter of Intent and were invited to submit a full proposal may apply.

The Operating Grants Program is the principal means by which the Cancer Research Society (CRS) fulfills its mission to support fundamental, early translational and environment-cancer research on all types of cancer to contribute to the advancement of science aimed at preventing, detecting and treating this disease.
The CRS Operating Grants Competition takes place every year and is open to researchers across Canada.
Amount: $60,000 per year
Duration: 2 years
Start Date: September 1

Andy and Léna Chabot Studentship
The Andy and Léna Chabot Cancer Research Society Studentship will be offered to an undergraduate student in the laboratory of the researcher whose application ranked highest among the operating grant applications in a given year.
