The Cancer Research Society and Ovarian Cancer Canada are proud to launch the OCC/OvCAN-CRS Strategic Partnership Grant Competition in an effort to develop and highlight scientific research excellence in ovarian cancer therapeutic solutions. The competition will award up to 6 grants, each totaling $225,000 over a two-year period.
Total budgetThis grant is limited to a maximum of $225,000 over 2 years.
Project EligibilityThis competition will fund translational/preclinical research projects which will contribute to potential novel treatments for ovarian cancer. Treatments which may benefit women diagnosed with less common types of ovarian cancer (e.g. endometrioid, clear cell, low-grade serous, non-epithelial) are encouraged
Applicant Eligibility Study principal investigator and co-applicants must hold a research position at a Canadian institution and be able to hold research funds at their institution. In this Competition, postdoctoral trainees are not eligible as Principal Investigators.
Competition ProcessApplicants to the OCC/OvCAN-CRS Strategic Partnership Grant Competition must submit a letter of intent (LOI).
The Cancer Research Society will review all LOIs for conformity and quality. Selected applicants will be invited to submit a full application. A peer review committee will rank the applications and chose the best ones.
Both, letter of intent and application forms must be submitted via ProposalCentral.
